Defending your country, going to war, earning a degree, it’s all in the line of duty. More and more soldiers are turning to online universities to help them complete an education. Irrespective of where the battle wages on, these soldiers can seamlessly continue their lessons, thanks to the Internet and virtual classrooms.
Sgt. Hagy, a medic in the United States Army, has set an exemplary example by earning a post graduate’s degree in Health Sciences from the Touro University International, specializing in Health Care Management, securing As in every course he took. What’s even more amazing is that he persevered with his studies while posted at an active combat zone, across five different countries, and over two deployments, one in Korea and currently in Iraq.
