Open The Doors to Opencourseware
There are times as an online student when I do miss the familiarity of the teacher-student interactions in a brick-and-mortar classroom. It was a challenge to keep up with the lesson being taught and jot down legible and sensible notes at the same time.
For kindred spirits, the Internet now offers something called “opencourseware”, which is essentially a collection of lectures, both in the audio and video formats, documents, and reading lists that were actually used in a classroom in some university or college. You can access valuable information that may or may not be related to your course work from the websites of various institutions.
The only drawback is that you will not have the benefit of interacting with members of the teaching faculty. But you can exploit materials in all disciplines to your advantage.
